The interactive
catalog collects the spare parts descriptions and product serial numbers
and inserts this information automatically into the ORDER FORM.
The customer is prompted to fill in the quantity
they wish to purchase. The form is automatically saved in a
universal format (.TXT document that can be printed out, faxed or
e-mailed). Electronic catalogs reduce errors during the order process,
improve customer service, reduce help desk calls, deliver clear,
concise and consistent information, and promote substantial cost
savings.
